Craig was born in New York and raised in central Indiana. His musical influences are as diverse as his experience with live performance. He released a full-length album of original music in the mid-80s with his band at the time, and continued performing through college and after—meeting guitarist Fred Gross along the journey. While working in Ohio he played with a regional country act, and contributed to another original album, recorded in Nashville, TN with national-level studio talent. As years passed, fate brought Craig and Fred together again musically—and the energy was still the same. In short order they crafted the Sugar Kisses band into its present form.
